Matthew Landy works with the Sales team at Klearcom to introduce new customers to its platform and help them keep on top of their global TFNs & IVRs. Matthew, originally from Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, pursued his studies at Limerick Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Business in Business Computing.
After graduating, he moved to Dublin, where he spent four years working with Bank of Ireland and WTW. He later relocated to Cork, where he gained six more years of experience working with WTW and Teamwork.com. Today, Matthew resides in Waterford, where he is a valuable team member at Klearcom.
What do you do at Klearcom?
I’m an Enterprise Solutions Manager at Klearcom and my role is to find potential customers who are a good fit for Klearcom. I then show them what we do and when there’s a need I help them to become a customer.
What made you choose sales as a career?
I really enjoy the process of finding customers who have a need that I can help them with. It’s important that I believe in the product that I am selling and that’s what makes working at Klearcom so easy because we can WOW our customers with what we offer.
What struck you as unique when you first joined Klearcom?
The fact that I can feel so relaxed around the co-founders and liaise with them on a daily basis. I hadn’t seen this in the past and it’s great to feel like there are no barriers depending on role level etc.
What excites you about what you do?
Definitely getting a positive response from a potential client and getting a meeting booked with them. This is very exciting because most people who see the Klearcom platform are blown away by its capabilities.
What is an exciting challenge you’re currently facing?
An exciting challenge I’m currently facing is that I’m running a half marathon at the end of November. It was thanks to my manager, Tomas Piacek, that I got into running 2 months ago while running for charity with Klearcom in a team race. Since then I’ve ran numerous times per week and it’s a hobby I’m so thankful for. There are so many positive benefits to it.
What’s it like to have hybrid work at Klearcom?
Working hybrid in Klearcom is a perfect blend. 2 days per week in the office and 3 days at home allows us time for our own focused work but also plenty of time for team collaboration and to keep in touch with one another.
How would you describe your team dynamic?
Our team is supportive and growth-focused. We believe in helping each other succeed, so we prioritize knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and continuous learning. We celebrate each other's wins and always make time to help out when someone hits a roadblock, which creates a positive, encouraging environment.

I enjoy a slice of pizza with pineapple on it. I wouldn’t eat a full pizza with pineapple on it because I feel it’s a bit too sweet.
