What made you choose finance as a career?
I always loved business and accounting throughout my time in secondary school. To ensure it was the right career path for me, I gained work experience in the finance departments of a few companies. This hands-on experience confirmed my interest and led me to pursue a college course in business and accounting.

Could you walk us through your typical work week? What kind of projects do you work on at Klearcom?
Throughout my working week here at Klearcom, my duties typically include generating and sending invoices to customers based on sales orders or contracts, confirming that all invoices are accurate and contain all relevant information including payment terms, deadlines, and itemized lists of the supplied services. I monitor accounts to identify overdue payments, checking that all payments are recorded accurately and consistently by reconciling the accounts receivable ledgers and maintaining accurate and updated records of customers’ accounts including contact information and payment history.
I also oversee all customer contracts' contracting and recontacting procedures. I communicate with internal departments to guarantee that each customer contract renewal date is known well in advance.
Before contracts are issued, I make sure internal teams have verified the correct contractual terms and I make sure that during contract negotiations and renewals, all advantageous terms are upheld and maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and ensure proper documentation.
