She also works on contract management. Rachel is from Ferrybank in Waterford, Ireland. Earlier in 2024, she completed a Bachelor of Business Honours degree with a specialization in Accounting at SETU Waterford. ## **What do you do at Klearcom?** I work in the finance team at Klearcom in accounts receivable. I am responsible for managing the money that customers owe to the company.    ### **What made you choose finance as a career**? I always loved business and accounting throughout my time in secondary school. To ensure it was the right career path for me, I gained work experience in the finance departments of a few companies. This hands-on experience confirmed my interest and led me to pursue a college course in business and accounting. ###### **What struck you as unique when you first joined Klearcom?** What stood out to me when I first joined Klearcom was the genuine friendliness of the team, paired with their remarkable work ethic. There is a strong culture of collaboration and teamwork that truly sets this company apart.And of course, Klearcom's unique service offerings struck me when I first joined.   ###### **What excites you about what you do?** Every day I have the chance to experience new things and overcome unexpected challenges which makes no two days the same. You’ll never find yourself bored working here! ###### **Could you walk us through your typical work week? What kind of projects do you work on at Klearcom? ** Throughout my working week here at Klearcom, my duties typically include generating and sending invoices to customers based on sales orders or contracts, confirming that all invoices are accurate and contain all relevant information including payment terms, deadlines, and itemized lists of the supplied services. I monitor accounts to identify overdue payments, checking that all payments are recorded accurately and consistently by reconciling the accounts receivable ledgers and maintaining accurate and updated records of customers’ accounts including contact information and payment history. I also oversee all customer contracts' contracting and recontacting procedures. I communicate with internal departments to guarantee that each customer contract renewal date is known well in advance. Before contracts are issued, I make sure internal teams have verified the correct contractual terms and I make sure that during contract negotiations and renewals, all advantageous terms are upheld and maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and ensure proper documentation.   ###### **What’s it like to have hybrid work at Klearcom?** By enabling team members to hold meetings and brainstorming sessions both in person and virtually, hybrid working promotes creativity and collaboration. This adaptable method allows teams to efficiently produce creative ideas and solutions by blending the spontaneity and intensity of in-person encounters with the ease of working remotely. Connecting from multiple locations promotes inclusion by guaranteeing that all opinions are heard and taking into account varied work preferences and styles. Hybrid working fosters a collaborative atmosphere that enhances team relationships and production.   ###### **How would you describe your team dynamic?** My team has quiet a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and valued. Despite the laid-back vibe, we maintain a strong focus on our responsibilities and consistently meet our goals. My team is also very supportive in anything that you wish to do. ###### **How would you describe the culture at Klearcom?** There is a great workplace culture at Klearcom where there is mutual respect for everyone in the workplace and employees feel valued and supported. The workplace promotes work-life balance, understanding the importance of employee well-being and offering flexible arrangements where possible. The culture is very relaxed, where a light-hearted atmosphere exists yet everyone remains dedicated and very hard-working. ###### **What do you love about working here?** I truly appreciate the people at Klearcom, everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming. The office atmosphere is a joy to be part of, where hard work is balanced with plenty of laughter.
