What do you do at Klearcom?
At Klearcom, I serve as the Visual Marketing Specialist, functioning as the in-house graphic designer. I collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to create collateral for both departments, ensuring our visual content is engaging and cohesive.
What made you pick graphic design as a career?
I chose this area to work in as I feel as if it has the perfect combination of creativity & innovation. I get to learn lots about customer behavior along with getting to have a visual impact on the business’ success.
What struck you as unique when you first joined Klearcom?
What struck me as unique when I first joined Klearcom was the strong sense of teamwork. Despite having different departments, everyone collaborates seamlessly, creating an amazing work environment.
Additionally, the flat organizational structure means I have easy access to everyone, making communication and collaboration incredibly efficient. This supportive and integrated approach truly sets Klearcom apart.
What excites you about what you do?
The blend of creativity & strategic work involved in my field. The ever-changing nature of marketing keeps me learning and growing.
Could you walk us through your typical work week? What kind of projects do you work on at Klearcom?
I split my week between the office (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and home, focusing on creating graphics for blogs, designing product two-pagers, and developing content plans. I also produce content for social platforms, update sales decks, and redesign icons and imagery for our platform.
Additionally, I played a key role in Klearcom's rebrand, designing the new logo and completely overhauling the website from scratch. My contributions have significantly enhanced our brand's visual identity and online presence.
What’s it like to have hybrid work at Klearcom?
Hybrid work at Klearcom offers a perfect blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. On office days, I engage in team projects and brainstorming sessions, while remote days allow me to focus on creative tasks like designing graphics, updating sales decks, and developing content plans without distractions. This setup boosts productivity, enhances work-life balance, and fosters a dynamic work environment.
