What do you do at Klearcom?

At Klearcom, my role is Product Manager, and I work within the Engineering Team.

What made you pick Engineering as a career?

I chose engineering as a career because of my passion for creating solutions that solve real world problems and my interest in technology's ability to innovate and improve lives.

Disrupting traditions and introducing innovations is always my preference.

What struck you as unique when you first joined Klearcom?

It became clear to me that the company's goals and vision are well-defined and focused, which fascinated me and then the first unique thing that struck to me was the team bonding and the transparency between cross-department teams.

What excites you about what you do?

I find great excitement in the opportunity to innovate for my customers by solving their pain points with easy solutions. Collaborating with my talented team to drive impactful solutions, understanding diverse personas, facing competitive challenges, and making a meaningful difference are all aspects that I love about my job.

Could you walk us through your typical work week? 

My typical work week at Klearcom is quite dynamic and involves a mix of product management, collaborative meetings with cross-functional teams, and focused work on our current initiatives.

As a Product Manager at Klearcom, I typically oversee projects that involve enhancing roadmaps, drafting stories, development progress, deployments,  and timelines. Throughout the week, I engage in planning sessions, strategy meetings, and hands-on problem-solving to ensure we meet our deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

It's a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and team collaboration that keeps each week both challenging and rewarding.

What is an exciting challenge you’re currently facing?  

Currently, I'm excited about revamping the UI/UX of our application. Our focus is on enhancing data representation to make it visually compelling while also optimizing the application's speed performance. It's a challenging yet rewarding project that aims to elevate user experience to new heights.

How do you handle feedback and ensure continuous improvement?

I approach each feedback as a critical driver for the continuous improvement of the Klearcom portal and its products. While developing any test type, I believe in maintaining transparency and collaboration with stakeholders, enabling us to prioritize effectively and deliver meaningful updates that align with user needs and expectations.

What’s it like to have hybrid work at Klearcom?

Working in a hybrid/fully remote setup at Klearcom gives me the flexibility to manage my schedule and collaborate effectively with my team through virtual meetings and tools.

This setup promotes trust and autonomy, helping us achieve results while balancing work and personal life. It's empowering to work in an environment that prioritizes productivity and well-being.

How would you describe your team dynamic?

Our team works together closely, communicating openly and supporting each other. We tackle challenges as a cohesive unit, sharing ideas and celebrating achievements together.

This creates a positive environment where everyone's contributions matter, driving us to innovate and achieve excellence as a team, and the same culture is inculcated to the root level of our Engineering Team structure.

Does pineapple belong on pizza? (look away now Italians)

As a non-Italian, I don't have a strong cultural bias against pineapple on pizza! It's ultimately a matter of personal taste. If you consider me, I enjoy the sweet and savory combination and prefer it as a traditional topping sometimes. Whatever so, I love PIZZZZAsssss :)

Panipuri is an iconic street food from Ahmedabad, India that consists of hollow, crispy puris filled with a spicy-tangy mixture of tamarind water, chickpeas, potatoes, and spices.

What makes it special is the burst of flavors and textures in each bite: the crunchy puri, the savory filling, and the refreshing tamarind water. It's not just a dish but an experience, and creating memorable stories enjoyed with friends or family, often on bustling street corners or in lively markets. The combination of simplicity, bold flavors, and communal enjoyment makes Panipuri a favorite for many, including myself.
